Recently i was checking out a christian forum, where they were discussing about many christian issues such as "Will you remember more the death or the birth?" , and " What is Jesus to everybody as a christian?". Then i chanced upon this topic on "fish sign" which talks about christian using the fish symbol. I find it interesting and cool about how christian are associated with fish.

Firstly fish was memtioned in the bible,
Mark 1:17: "Come after Me, and I will make you become fishers of men."
Matthew 12:40: "...Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."
Matthew 14:17: "And they said to Him, 'We have here only five loaves and two fish.'"
Luke 5:6: "And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking."
Luke 24:42: "So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb."
John 21:6: "And He said to them, 'Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.' So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish."

The acrostic( An acrostic is an "arrangement of words in which the first letter of each line ordinarily combines with others to form a word or words or the alphabet." )of the word "fish" in greek(pronounced Ichthys ) can be used to form words like [Iesous (Jesus) CHristos (Christ) THeou (God) Uiou (Son) Soter (Savior)].

How can a fish gets more intresting than this.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. [John 3:16]
This is the truth: On christmas a saviour is born, the one and only son of God came down to earth, in our likeness, that one day he will die on the cross for our sins.

Christmas is to celerbrate the hope and salvation that our God gave to us on that special day. Where Jesus came and gave us the greatest gift, which is to pay off our sins. Without Jesus, there will be no christmas, no gifts, no hope, no salvation, no celebration. Believe it or not, God has already prepared the greatest gift for every single one of us 2000 years back. Just imagine opening the present God gave you, you opened and you found everlasting peace for your soul, then joy and happiness, love that you seek ernestly, and finally eternal life. All this God has already packed it for you, He is jus waiting for you to open it.

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. [John 3:17]

Amazingly I struggled my way to YI( Youth Impact) camp and attended most of their activities. The weather was bad during the first two days, it has been raining non stop and we were not able to do outdoor activities, we are missing out alot of fun if it continues to rain throughout the four days of camp. Weather forcast said rain will continue for days, but by faith we believe that on the third day there shall be no rain, Cuz our God is greater than anything, INCLUDING THE WEATHER! And ya, we pray and pray and pray and there it goes, no rain on the third day. God gave us good weather, and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. We are ordinary people who do not possess any power, but when we are connected to a extraordinary God, we will do extraordinary things.

Yes God, I called and you answered. You always came to my rescue, always guiding me, never forsaking me for I know you are with me always. You filled me with joy and relief that i never experience before, and what could I say or do....but only to offer this heart of mine wholeheartedly to you.

Faith without action is lame, actions without faith is blind. And so what is faith? Faith is something that you believe that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence. Faith needs obedience, faith needs courage, faith needs perseverence and faith needs love.

I sometimes question myself, how much faith do I have in God, and trust in Him that He will be able to turn the situation around. I must admit that though I declare that I love God, sometimes I just don have the courage to stand up for my faith, to do what God wants me to do.

But not for now onwards, I have formed my stand, that is to put all my faith into the hands of the lord our saviour Christ Jesus. That whatever obstacle and troubles that comes my way, I know for sure that God will help me.

Faith is to believe what you do not yet see; the reward for this faith is to see what you believe.

Some things have to be believed to be seen
